Megan Davis - Associate

Megan Davis joined James, Hoyer, Newcomer & Smiljanich in 2009. She is an associate with the class action division of the firm.

Prior to joining James Hoyer, Megan interned with the State Attorney’s Office of the Eighth Judicial Circuit in Levy County, Fla. She also interned with the United States Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Florida in Tampa, and spent multiple summers interning at James Hoyer.

Megan graduated cum laude from the University of Florida College of Law in 2009, where she was a Pro-Bono Excellence Certificate recipient and certified legal intern by the Florida Supreme Court.

Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate work at the University of Florida, where she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. In her leisure time, Megan paints and plays the piano. She also enjoys exercising, traveling and photography. Megan lives in Tampa.
